The jaya Container Terminal renovation and expansion project will enhance the overall berth operation capacity of Colombo Port. Other enhancements include international management experience, advanced electronic automation systems and port ancillary facilities to enhance productivity and further boost the port economy of Sri Lanka. The Colombo International Container Terminal has made a great contribution to the rapid integration of the Sri Lankan economy into the world, as Colombo port has risen to the 13th place in the world in terms of connectivity.
