Vietnam has rich and diverse mineral resources, including offshore oil and gas, coal, iron, aluminum, manganese, chromium, tin, titanium and phosphorus, of which coal and aluminum reserves are huge. The main industrial products include coal, crude oil, natural gas, liquefied gas, aquatic products, etc. Economic crops include coffee, rubber, pepper, tea, peanuts, sugarcane, etc.

Ho Chi Minh Port, also known as Saigon Port, is located in the northeast of the Mekong River Delta in southern Vietnam, on the west bank of the lower reaches of the Saigon River. It is the largest port in southern Vietnam, and tons of ocean going vessels can enter the port for loading and unloading. Ho Chi Minh currently has three ports: New Port, VICT Port, and CAT LAI Port.

The port of Ho Chi Minh City is the main gateway to the region, accounting for 67% of the total throughput of all ports in Vietnam. In 2018, Ho Chi Minh Port processed 6.33 million TEU containers, an increase of 6.8% compared to the previous year. It is currently the 26th largest container port in the world and the fifth largest container port in ASEAN.

Due to trade tensions between the United States and China, some manufacturers have shifted production from China to Vietnam, resulting in an increase in container transportation volume between East and Southeast Asia, especially Vietnam. In recent years, Vietnam has continuously undertaken the production of low value-added goods from other countries. In the future, the growth rate of Vietnamese port infrastructure and throughput is likely to continue to surpass that of China, Japan, South Korea, and other Asian regions. On a global scale, the number of goods and trunk ports contributed by the entire Southeast Asian region will continue to rise, and more and more large ships will choose to directly dock from Southeast Asian ports.

It is understood that due to the continuous growth of container transportation volume, the Vietnamese government is planning to build another container port in the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, and is currently considering the construction of multiple ports. In the future, mSA will focus on increasing investment in the construction and maintenance of port infrastructure, promoting the implementation of research projects on port channel upgrading, investment projects on port channel upgrading, and other projects.

The rapid development of international container transportation, mainly by sea, is a critical period in the era of containerization of world transportation. Due to the fact that containers ensure the safety of goods transportation, container transportation greatly reduces the number of manual loading, unloading, and handling in traditional transportation methods. It can avoid freight accidents such as damage, wet damage, and loss caused by human and natural factors, reduce economic losses, and save packaging materials for goods. Due to the suitability of mechanized loading and unloading operations for automotive containers, the efficiency of loading and unloading operations has been greatly improved. At the same time, it greatly shortens the stay time of container stations, accelerates vehicle and ship turnover, and cargo delivery, making container transportation more popular among various transportation methods. However, with the increase in its business volume, many disadvantages have been exposed.

Container X-ray security inspection machine has become a sharp weapon for container security

With the rapid growth of container transportation in recent years, the security inspection capacity of container transportation has seriously lagged behind. Strengthening container transportation safety inspections is an important aspect of current port management, and improving container transportation efficiency is an important guarantee for ensuring the long-term stable development of container transportation.

IWILDT ™ The AN-48002800 automotive container security inspection machine is specially designed for the security inspection of container goods at customs, ports, and border ports. It reduces manual, time-consuming, and laborious safety checks on trucks, containers, and vehicles. X-ray scanning generates images of the materials, volume, and quantity of the goods in the container to check if they comply with the inspection checklist, and to check for explosives, drugs, weapons of mass destruction, contraband, and other threats.

IWILDT ™ The AN-48002800 automotive container safety detector uses adjustable electron accelerators ranging from 4MeV to 7.5MeV, penetrating 330mm steel plates. In direct mode, up to 100 vehicle containers can be screened per hour.
