Description of pollution source terms

1. Ionizing radiation

When the X-ray device is turned on and working, it can produce X-rays with energy, and does not produce radiation when not turned on.

2. Waste gas

The X-ray device will ionize oxygen in the air during the beam output process to produce ozone. The amount of ozone generated by this project is small and located outdoors, and the chemical properties of ozone are active, so the environmental impact of the generated ozone can be ignored.

3. Wastewater

This system adopts a digital terminal imaging system, which does not involve the use of fixing solution or developing solution, and does not generate cleaning wastewater.

4. Solid waste

This system adopts a digital terminal imaging system and does not involve the generation of solid waste and hazardous waste.

5. Noise

The noise impact during the operation of the equipment in this project is minimal.

Therefore, based on the pollution characteristics of the project, the main evaluation factor is determined to be X during the start-up period- γ Radiation dose rate.
