Reasonability analysis of site selection

After the project is completed, if the inspected vehicles meet the requirements for passing inspection, they will be released; Otherwise, manual secondary security checks will be conducted in the lane security area. This layout conforms to the principles of "reasonable zoning, smooth process, and short logistics; highlighting environmental protection, combining distance and proximity, and harmonious unity". The closest distance between the security check room and the inspection device is 50m. The ionizing radiation generated during the detection process, after shielding and distance attenuation, meets the requirements of the dose constraint value determined in this evaluation for the surrounding workers and the public. There are no permanent residents within a 50m radius around the project; The surrounding area of the project is relatively open and unrestricted, so the project site selection is reasonable and feasible.

1. Working principle


The IWILDT 48002800 vehicle inspection system utilizes the principle of radiation imaging, where the fan-shaped rays emitted by the radiation source penetrate the enclosed compartment and internal cargo, and are received by the detector on the other side. Due to the different densities of different parts of the object, the degree of absorption of radiation varies, and the strength of the signal output by the detector also varies. After image processing, the signals with different strengths are displayed on the computer screen, forming the outline and shape of the objects inside the vehicle. Through visual inspection, it can be seen that the enclosed carriage is loaded with objects.

2. Equipment composition

The IWILDT 48002800 vehicle inspection system consists of a radiation source subsystem, a detector subsystem, a data acquisition and real-time imaging subsystem, an image and data management subsystem, a vehicle position sensing system, and a system operation monitoring subsystem. The main functions of each subsystem are as follows:

2.1 Radiation source subsystem

The radiation source subsystem includes X-ray machine, X-ray high-voltage power supply, X-ray machine cooling device, collimator, shutter and driving device, all installed in the radiation source box.

(2) The relevant technical parameters of the X-ray source room are as follows:

Cabinet size: 2400 x 1400 x 2400mm;
Cabinet inner wall: 1-2mm lead equivalent;
Collimator: 30mm thick lead drum with a 2mm wide uniform gap in the center;
Shutter: 20mm thick L-shaped lead shielded shutter.

2.2 Detector subsystem

The detector subsystem receives radiation that passes through the inspected object, including the column and beam sections. The back of the detector is shielded with a J-shaped lead plate, with a width of approximately 655mm. The back of the detector column is protected with a 30mm lead plate, and the protection on both sides of the column is shielded with a 10mm lead plate. The lead plates are interlocked with each other; The crossbeam protection adopts 5mm lead plates, which are interlocked with each other.

2.3 Data acquisition and real-time imaging subsystem

The data acquisition and real-time imaging subsystem converts the detector output signal into a digital signal and feeds it into the image processing subsystem to establish a two-dimensional projection image of the object being tested on the computer screen.


2.4 Image and Data Management Subsystem

The image and data management subsystem consists of image processing and analysis, display of scanned images, and corresponding check-in information, helping inspectors analyze images and identify whether the inspected vehicle is violating regulations.

2.5 Vehicle Position Sensing System

The vehicle position sensing system consists of four ground induction coils, responsible for detecting the vehicle's position and ensuring the coordination and safe operation of the system.

2.6 System operation monitoring subsystem

The system operation monitoring subsystem is used to monitor and control the operation status of the entire system, ensuring the safe and normal operation of the system.
