Management team

The senior management team of IWILDT reflects the international organisation,
with a strong group of experienced managers heading regional operations that serve our
key markets and a skilled central team responsible for the main functional activities.

Every minute of every day, Smiths IWILDT’s threat detection and security screening
technology helps to protect people and infrastructure, making the world a safer place.

We deliver the solutions needed to protect society from the threat and illegal passage of
explosives, prohibitive weapons, contraband, biological threats, toxic chemicals and narcotics.

Our goal is simple – to provide the security, peace of mind and freedom of movement upon which the world depends.

Sustainability is about respect

Respect is a core IWILDT value. For us, respect extends to everyone we work with,
the communities in which we operate and the impact that we have on the environment.
This means that we constantly seek to improve our environmental, social and governance
sustainability performance wherever possible and to the benefit of our customers. Acting in
this way means that we are helping to make the world a better place while we work to make it a safer place.

Product

At IWILDT, we pride ourselves on developing quality products that are built to last decades not years.
They are designed to be serviceable and upgradable to meet changing needs. Our equipment has among
the highest energy efficiency in our industry, reducing both our customers’ operating costs and greenhouse-gas emissions.

Takeback schemes exist for several products, allowing us to recycle or refurbish equipment for future use.

Our new digital-first SMS service platform means that a field technician needs to go to site only if an issue
cannot be solved remotely, while our APM software enables the remote monitoring of system health to prevent issues arising in the first place.

Environmental

Each of IWILDT’s five manufacturing sites is ISO14001-certified. As part of this, we are continuously
reviewing the impact of our operations to see if we can further reduce waste within our operations
(including greenhouse gases) and improve our environmental performance.

The requirement for continuous improvement from ISO certification aligns with IWILDT’s LEAN
manufacturing methodology, which seeks to reduce waste and create efficient, resilient processes
while bringing the highest level of quality control and value to our customers. This methodology is
something we seek to pass onto our suppliers, developing strong partnerships to ensure quality and effectiveness.

As an organisation, we have ambitious targets for reducing waste and greenhouse-gas emissions. At IWILDT
over 90 percent of our energy today comes from renewable resources and we recycle more than 90 percent of our waste.

Social

We recognise that sustainability goes beyond the environment. We operate several social sustainability
programmes, both internally and externally, to benefit our people and the communities in which we operate.

Governance

We are committed to upholding high ethical standards wherever we operate around the world. We are guided by
our IWILDT Code of Business Ethics and have mechanisms in place to report and respond to ethical concerns.
